Some Edits

Here are a couple examples of photos that I edited. Most of these photos I took myself. The cityscape is not my original photo but I needed something with either a far off view or an aerial view. I had learned about a photography technique called tilt shift but since I did not and still do not have the tools for such feats, I decided to see if there was a way to get the same result using Photoshop.

Photography

I don't always have the time or the opportunity to do it but when I do, I like to take a LOT of pictures. Below are some that I have taken which are at this time unedited.

Introduction

Hello everyone! I am a full time Media and Communications major at Maharishi University of Management in beautiful Fairfield, Ia, USA. Presently I have been working on a possible website redesign for my best friend and sister for her two islands that she owns in Second Life. Since the website is not yet ready for re-implementation on the web, I am going to show a few screenshots of a few pages. Any criticism and ideas are welcome. I am continuously learning and the world is my teacher!

The image above is the About page. As you can see, it features the images of the owners and estate mangers of both Butterfly Island and Butterfly Hollow. Andromeda is the main owner of everything and Aiden and Wyntarra (me) are the co-owners as well as estate managers. Arielle and Zarabeth are our ever so helpful staff and estate managers.

The above image is the home page. I decided to leave it blank and have the tiny island and fountain be the center piece since it is the center of Butterfly Island and has been for years. Everything around the island has changed from time to time and even just recently went through some major modifications for the better but the tiny island and fountain in the center has always remained the same. :)

The above image is what the pages for Butterfly Island, Butterfly Hollow and Coconut Ice look like for now. I am currently working on mini films of those areas to be posted on those pages. I am using Camtasia for this. :)
